Your family can sign up for this year’s March for Life at the State Capitol the next two weekends after Masses.
Your presence at this event is one way for you to demonstrate your public witness for life and will show our elected officials that Minnesotans want them to protect life at all stages.
- Date: January 22
- Cost: No charge
- Time: The bus will arrive at Church of Saint Paul at 9:10 AM and return about 2:00
- Itinerary: An eccumenical prayer service begins at the St. Paul Cathedral at 10:30 am. Then, for the people who do not want to march on the route from the Cathedral to the Capitol building, the bus will pick you up from the Cathedral and bring you to the Capitol for the actual march from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm. The rally on the Capitol steps will be from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm. The bus will load and leave the Capitol at 1:00 pm.
- Who Should Attend?: This is an excellent event for anyone who can be outside in the winter for a few hours. There are always numerous families (including babies in strollers) in attendance. You can bring your own sign showing your support for life issues (0ptional), or quite often there are signs available there.
Participating in the March for Life is a memorable experience for kids and is a fantastic practical application for your Home Lesson on the Sanctity of Life.
Thanks for sponsoring our bus goes to the Knights of Columbus and Circles of Claddagh Women’s Groups of St. Patrick’s in Cedar.
