Lenten Prayer

Praying the Stations of the Cross is an excellent way to think about the last day of Jesus’ life as you move through events from His trial with Pontius Pilate to his burial in a tomb.  At each of the 14 stations there’s typically someone leading the prayer and a time for the rest of us to enter in with the responses.  The leader (a priest or a deacon if you’re praying at church) usually moves from station to station, making Jesus’ Good Friday walk present to us, as if we were actually walking with Him.

Many Catholic churches pray the Stations of the Cross each Friday during Lent.  You can join us at the Church of Saint Paul each Friday at 7:00.
