The impact on families has been varied.  We’ve found that the key to success is prioritizing the lessons.  Those who do have witnessed a close bonding of the family.  The families amaze me with their commitment!  One family is so glad that Dad is involved.  Single parents (or those with an uninterested or hostile to religion spouse) really amaze me how they are showing a great example to those around them.  I think it has helped the parish community in that the priests are more involved with these families.  In the past there was close to no interaction.  I know the active families in the parish have appreciated the inclusion and support.
