Basically, I feel like one of Family Formation’s strongest markets is the small, rural parish. That is where we are, for sure! I have been watching for awhile and seeing the obvious gaps and struggles that small, rural parishes are facing. Small numbers, lack of adult catechesis and a conditioned ‘drop off your kids at class while you go and eat K of C breakfast’ are kind of what is going on. Yet, in a small town, there is that need for building and maintaining a close-knit community. Family Formation can do all of those things: deal with small numbers, teach the adults and build community.

Thank you to Annella, a veteran Family Formation advocate who the Lord has now planted in this new setting!
