I’d like to add my welcome to Matt’s and thank you for visiting!

Family Formation is a religious education program for preschool through 6th graders with a unique twist.  It is our goal to help families grow together in their love for Christ and His Church.  It is our firm belief that God has given every parent the grace to be their child’s first and best teacher in the Faith and each Catholic home to be a domestic church.  For the past 20 years He has used Family Formation as one of the tools to help them do that confidently and effectively!

A little bit about what motivates us:

We are Roman Catholic and joyfully embrace the wisdom of the Church established on earth by Jesus Christ.

We are catechists who work at the parish level and beyond to help families gain a deeper appreciation of the Catholic Faith.

We are parents whose primary goal is to one day see our children in heaven.

The purpose of this blog is to bring Family Formation’s conversation on the Faith into a different realm.  Over the years we’ve heard hundreds of creative ideas, we’ve helped overcome challenges, and we’ve looked for ways to address issues that don’t always fit into a pre-printed lesson.  The flexibility of this format should be a great answer to all those needs.

Finally, we invite you into the conversation.  The creativity of Catholic parents is one of the foundation blocks of the program and we look forward to your respectful and charitable contributions.
