Get out your Crayolas …

And Happy New Year!

This Sunday marks the first day of the Church year and it would be very appropriate to celebrate by coloring your new Liturgical Calendar.  At the most basic level, you’ll need four crayons (red, green, purple, and white).  The colors are set in stone, but your budding artists can easily expand on that by using a different medium.  Colored pencils offer more control and easier shading options.  Glitter pens would be a nice way to decorate the most important feasts of the year such as Christmas and Easter (or any of the days colored white).  The paper is even heavy enough that you could watercolor if you wanted.

Use your imagination and create a masterpiece that you’ll want to display for the whole year!
