THANK YOU!

What great days we had at our May Family Formation times!

Our sixth graders left a permanent gift for the parish and reminders of all they're learned this year!.
Students (and parents) learned more about the Holy Spirit!
Miss Mary and Miss Olivia reminded us that the Church never takes a summer break and no matter where in the world we travel this summer, we can always go to Mass there and be united with our own beloved home parish!
And finally, Matt had the pleasure of honoring all the kids who contributed to the thousands of days of WOG time. Great job, kids, on all your time spent with the Word of God! We're so proud of you and we hope you keep it up over the summer.

While the end of the year is a great time to breathe a small sigh of relief, it’s even more appropriate to just be overwhelmed with gratitude for the tremendous blessings of this past year.  God is so faithful and one of the big ways we see His hand working in our parish is through all the details of Family Formation!  Every gift we need to make the program not only run, but thrive and grow, is found in our community and so many of you generously allow God to use your gifts toward this end.

Thank you to all those who worked behind the scenes to make the Family Formation program at Church of Saint Paul so fabulous:  to Dominic and Christroph Brostrom, Nick and Tony Klejeski, James Myher, Pete Downs, and Paul Gold who helped with setting up the classrooms each month and thanks to all of you who pitched in to help clean up at the end.   Thank you to Jane Boster, Renee Curwick and everyone who faithfully volunteered to collate lessons each month.  Thank you to those who volunteered to help with office work, to the person who created the Home Lesson bulletin board, and to Becky Brounstein for keeping the beautiful bulletin board near the office current with each season.  Thanks to the Family Formation core team for the prayer support, for their creative ideas that keep things running and fresh and all the practical support with updating materials.

Thank you to MaryBeth Kasl, Sarah Bittner, Denise Meuer, Jenny Clarke, and Bev Greene for helping us with praise and worship throughout the year.  Thank you to all those dads and moms who worked at the packet hand out table welcoming us and making sure we came home with all the right materials.   Thank you to Jess Mostek for the idea, and to all the others who set up the hospitality times for the parents.   Thanks to our principals – Kristina Kummet on Saturday, and Deb Nelson (along with Monica and Brad Nelson) on Monday.

Thanks to those who taught us:  to all our great parent speakers for the care they took in crafting talks which helped us along in our faith, to all the catechists and their classroom aides for their creative ideas and hours of preparation so they could effectively share the love of Christ with all the students.  Thank you also to Tony and MaryBeth Barbato for all their work on Catholic Academy – their skits were always memorable presentations of each month’s topic!  Thank you, thank you, thank you to Mark and Trisha Funni and Tim and Katie Sheibe for coordinating the Sacraments program.

Thank you to all the parents for your enthusiasm and your attention.  We are inspired by your desire to deepen your faith and your commitment to bringing your kids to heaven with you.

What a huge blessing is is to work with you all and we hope to do it all over again in the fall!

-Matt, Deb, Laurie, and Sue
