The Paulines go to Holy Mass

If you’ve ever read a bit of Our Sabbath Scripture Book, you’re certainly familiar with the Pauline family.  Martin and Therese Pauline are parents of six children ranging from college aged Peter to baby Ben.  Their love for Christ and His Church animates every aspect of their lives and we see it reflected in their joyful expression of the Faith and love for one another.  They’re best known for their sometimes wacky and always creative interpretations of the Sunday readings, but they pop up at different points throughout Family Formation lessons whenever a little advice to families would be helpful.

This week, we hear from each of the Paulines as they get ready to attend Sunday Mass.  We all know that each stage of  growth is accompanied by different challenges, and hearing how Peter copes with staying up too late on a Saturday, how 12 year-old Vincent remembers to be reverent, and how 4-year-old Hillary learns to pay attention during Mass adds up to a valuable lesson for all ages!
