Not planning a vacation?  You can still have mini summer adventures each Sunday by attending nearby parishes with your Super Summer Sacraments Scavenger Hunt booklets.  You’ll be exposed to different music, homilies, architecture, and (if you’re really adventurous) languages, but no matter where you are you’ll gain an even greater appreciation of the unity of Catholics everywhere.

Even if you don’t understand a word of the prayers, you’ll recognize when the Scriptures are being proclaimed and when the Eucharist is being consecrated.  Receiving Holy Communion with different groups of people gives a great picture of how big the Universal Church is and may just help you appreciate your home parish even more.
