A few members of the Family Formation team had a fantastic retreat day at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Lacrosse, Wisconsin! We collected all your prayer intentions in advance and brought them with us to the Shrine.

Prayer is the foundation of all we do and we were honored to bring your families and your parish along with us for the day! We prayed for each of your parishes by name using our litany, and once we arrived were able to go to Mass, pray a rosary, spend time in adoration and benediction, and since it was the feast of Saint Benedict we were also able to venerate his relic. (We were joking a little about the timing that allowed us to experience this Catholic Grand Slam.)

The weather was perfect and we were each able to spend lots of time in private prayer as well on their beautiful grounds.

And finally, after a long refreshing day, we’re excited to see how the Lord is going to work through Family Formation this year, and we are on our way back again and ready to move forward in His plan!
