Genitori, Genitoque laus et jubilatio!*

Just a reminder that January’s classroom lesson will include a short time of Eucharistic Adoration, including Benediction.  If you or your children are not familiar with the hymns Tantum Ergo or O Salutaris, you may want to refer to the supplemental lesson and CD on Latin Prayers and Hymns included in your December Home Lesson packet.  There you’ll be able to hear these hymns and read the translation to make it a little more meaningful.  You’ll also get information on why the Church still uses Latin as her official language today and how that came to be.

*To the Begetter and the Begotten be praise and jubilation!
