Fun fact about Advent 2011:

Did you know that this year’s Advent is a full four weeks long?  That’s as long as the season of Advent can possibly be and it only happens on years when Christmas falls on a Sunday.  (Next time will be five years from now in 2016.)

Of course, this will only have a minor effect on our lives (Christmas is still on the 25th, after all), but for those who are using the season of Advent for prayer, fasting, and almsgiving in preparation for the birth of our Savior, the extra few days will be some welcome extra prep time!
