Planning ahead

As you’re planning this week’s lesson on Abraham, be sure you also make plans for your family to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

An examination of conscience and confession are the “activities” for this week’s lesson and are a logical endpoint to your study of Abraham who was known for putting God first in his life.  Any time you’re preparing for confession you’re basically thinking about all those times you put something else before God, and your prayer time this week could include asking the Father of Faith to help you all remember the times you did not follow his holy example.

Scheduled times this week at the Church of Saint Paul are Saturday, March 10 from 3:30-4:30, Monday, March 12 at 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, March 17 at 10:45 a.m. (three priests) and 3:30-4:30 p.m.

For the full Lenten confession schedule, refer to the church bulletin.
