Shaking Up Your Memory A Bit

Using dice automatically makes just about anything into a game!  After your family becomes familiar with the Commandments, you’ll want to work on associating each with its proper number.  Try using a 10-sided dice like the one pictured below.  With each roll, simply take turns reciting the Commandment that goes with the number rolled.   I’ve seen them at game stores in the past and you can also buy them online.

You can also play the same game with two standard dice by reciting the first Commandment on a roll of 11, and making up your own rule for a roll of 12.   (Perhaps you could designate it as pass or name your favorite.)  If you’re feeling really energetic, try googling “10-sided dice template” and you’ll find a cut and paste version you can print and make yourself.
