Celebrating All Souls Day

Death can be a tough subject but celebrating a feast like this is a wonderful opportunity to bring it up in a casual, ordinary day-on-the-calendar way. Talking about life after death, and knowing we do not forget about people when they’ve died can be very comforting for kids (and frankly, all of us). Yes, it can be sad, but also all-so-filled with hope! Hope of heaven, hope of being reunited someday, hope that comes with all the connections that still unite us, and trust in God’s unending goodness!

This article from His Girl Sunday has a bunch of great suggestions for building those connections and celebrating that hope! We hope you’ll take a look and find something new for your family’s celebration of the day.
