A few days ago I invited your family to participate in the Archdiocesan Rosary Procession (in St. Paul), but since then have gotten a little more information:
This year’s event will begin at 6:00 pm with a guest speaker and music. We will begin assembling for the procession at 6:30 pm. The procession will begin promptly at 7:00 pm. We will process from the State Capitol to the Cathedral. At the Cathedral we will have a prayer service with Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament followed by Benediction. Those who cannot walk the Procession Route may go directly to the Cathedral to pray the Rosary with those who are in procession. Finally, there will be a limited seating Danielle Rose concert in Hayden Hall at 9:00. (A free will offering will be taken.)
If you’re still trying to decide, watch this short video for details of the evening. It’s very helpful to know the times for each phase of the evening, just in case your kids’ attention spans won’t allow you to stay all three hours. Also, candles are provided, but if you know your little ones won’t do well with open flame, bring a battery-operated candle or a glow stick instead.
