After visiting the Cathedral this evening, we ran into a wonderful prayer project at the entrance to the Adoration Chapel.
It starts with a strip of fabric and an invitation to write your prayer intentions.
From there, you tie it to one of the walls on the edge of the display. Here’s Laurie, tying our intentions to the display under the image of Our Lady of Undoer of Knots.
You then take someone else’s intention, pray for it, and tie it to the shelter in the center of the display.
We also lifted up the Distance Program in prayer along with the thousands of other intentions in this wonderful display!
UPDATE: While on the parade route on his way to the Sunday Mass, the Holy Father made an unexpected stop at this shrine to pray for and bless all the intentions there!
Thank you! I told my families this Wed. that you were all in Washington, DC seeing the Pope and that you were praying for all of us. Hope you had a wonderful faith filled experience. This would be an awesome idea to do. Thanks for sharing!
