It’s been a whirlwind of travel, figuring out the trains, navigating downtown and just having a fun time so far, but we wanted to give you a quick update on the week so far.

We left home bright and early Monday morning.

… and got off the plane to see that most of Philly is excited for the event.

The location of our rental house seems providential.

We did a little sightseeing.

And yesterday’s opening ceremonies started with a welcome from Bishop Chaput, a fantastic keynote address from Bishop Robert Barron and then Mass that started with a 20 minute procession of priests and bishops.

Breakout sessions start today and we’re having a hard time choosing from all the great breakout sessions!
